Pasta all’arrabiata – Angry pasta!

“Arrabiata” means “Angry” in Italian. If you see the ingredients you will see perhaps this name comes from that big red hot chilly on it. So yes the “Angry pasta” will be very hot and spicy! The good thing about it is you can cook it in no time, it’s so easy and quick. When I don’t have much time or no patience to cook, this pasta is a saver! 😀

Ingredients | Servings: 2

200g/7oz penne pasta
300g/10oz peeled tomatoes
Garlic
Half of a Chilly
Extravirgin Olive Oil
Grounded Parmesan Cheese

*use any pasta you like, it’s just in a classic Italian pasta all’arrabiata they usually use penne of pasta.

Preparation

1- Chop finely garlic and chilly
2- Put the pot full of water on the stove and bring the water to boil
3- In a pan pour olive oil, chopped chilly and garlic stir fry them for 3-4 mins
4- Add the tomatoes and stir them till they change color a bit and cook well
5- The sauce is almost ready for the pasta
6- When water starts to boil add salt
7- Add pasta to salty boiling water
8- When you see sauce is dense it’s ready for the pasta
9- 2mins before the pasta cooks completely add it to the sauce and let it finishs the cooking time in the pot covered in sauce
10- The pasta is ready
